Mount Thompson Alpenglow
07/23/10 Goat Lake backpacking trip. This was a shot of the sun setting, causing this wonderful Alpenglow on Mount Thompson (10,751) and Mickey's Spire (10,680). I'm glad I happened to be out taking pics because this moment only lasted for about 5 minutes. I especially like the fact that my butt caused the most defined slide down that primary snowfield there on the top left. :P
