Nice Snow!
Very Pretty Climb. There was a fair bit of traffic for the conditions - at least three other parties. We spent the night before at Fourth Iron alone which was very chilly.

I like the view up top
Mt. Tom, even with the trees still has some really nice views. I went on to Mt. Field afterwards.

Up A-Z, bushwhack over W Field, down Kedron Flume
Much nicer now, with two new viewpoints and wide cleared trail
Passed the summit spur in the dark on Friday night, made up for it on the return hike on Monday. Falling snow blocked the views, but our presence was noted by some jays. We succumbed to the obvious temptation and offered some crumbs to get them to perch on our fingers, but stopped after one of them grabbed an entire granola bar out of my friend's hand.

Trails all hard packed by folks headed to Zealand Hut. Some fresh crust and snow from yesterday's storm. No views--all clouds today. Just the same, a wonderful early winter day.
