Was a gorgeous day. Very unique views, can see Hidden Lake from an unexpected angle, also one of the few places with a good view of McPartland Mountain. Only down down side were the bugs on the slog up Stanton.

Mt Vaught
Climbed with Vern Ingraham bypassing Stanton on the way up, but dropping our packs and doing it on the return on Vern's insistence even though he had new boots that gave him bloody toes! Climbed from road passing N MacDonald Lake ranger station

Rough Day
Summitted Stanton prior to climbing Vaught on a day that was way too hot. Climbed with great friend, Vantana.
Looking back now it was worth it but it was a long day.

Not my favorite but a worthwhile peak. Woke up from a glorious summit nap to find us surrounded by storms. Thrilling descent!
