Warren Rogers  Sucess!

Started at Summit Lake and hiked up Warren and then headed over to Rogers. On the way to Rogers we saw 6 mountain goats. Beautiful day, with snow on the ground. then returned the way we came, but bypassed Warren on the return.

From Summit Lake  Sucess!

Enjoyed this peak with Rogers Peak for a nice outing. We got to see a snowshoe hair, an animal neither I nor my husband had ever seen in the wild. Lovely views and fantastic privacy.

from Evans  Sucess!

One of the easiest 13ers in the state if you do it from Summit Lake, a 20 minute walk. Did Warren on the way down from Evans, then onto Rogers and Goliath.

From Summit Lake  Sucess!

Climbed with Rogers and saw a group of mountain goats on the ridge. I also saw plenty of bighorn sheep on the sides of the road. I climbed Rosalie, Epaulie, and Epaulet before driving to Summit Lake.

Easy hike while the in-laws milled around the lake. Nice to get away from all the people.

We (Brad,Andy,Neil, Betsy and myself) left the Echo Lake Trailhead at 7am this morning with the goal to reach Mount Evans and camp on the way out. Due to mixed snow/no-snow/ice conditions, our progress was slower than expected and we did not reach the Warren/Spalding saddle until 2:30. Thus we decided to hike to the summit of Warren from where we had great views.

Beautiful day and great camping close to the Chicago Lakes.

Long day from Echo Lake Trailhead. Summitted in group of five (Georg, Betsy, Andy, Neil and myself). Original destination was Mount Evans, but because of snow/ice conditions and time constraints, we decided Mount Warren was a more reasonable goal. Awesome weather and a fun climb.

I was surprised to see an SP page for this mountain! Hordes at the lake, but not a soul on Warren or Rogers. They're not the most exciting summits, to be sure, but they afford a quick and easy wilderness escape. We saw a jackrabbit on Warren, the highlight of our alpine amble!

A TR is available here, though the info. on the mountains is limited because there wasn't a whole lot to say!

Did this one in about 25 minutes from the Summit Lake parking lot. No one else was on it and it was nice to get away from the crowd at the lake for an hour or so. Cool views off the northwest side.
