Did a variation of the Brighton Ridge Run with David, summiting 6 peaks (Tuscarora, Millicent, Wolverine, Patsy Marley, Honecomb Cliffs, and Evergreen) with good views of Lake Mary, Lake Martha, Lake Catherine, Twin Lakes Reservoir, and Silver Lake along the way. We were lucky to do this on a day when the smoke from fires wasn't quite so bad.
Brandon R. and I decided to try to bag a few peaks at Brighton. We started in the parking lot and went past Mary, Martha, and Catherine Lakes. We then went up Catherine Pass. From there, we hiked to the summit of Tuscarora, then Millicent, Wolverine, Patsy Marley, Honeycomb Cliffs, and Evergreen. On the way down we went by Twin Lakes and Silver Lake. It was a fun a route and a great day in the mountains.
Brighton Traverse from Millicent Quad over Millicent, Wolverine, and Tuscarora to Catherine Pass and down to Brighton parking lot with RBD. Awesome day!
Triple of Tuscarora, Wolverine, Patsy Marley. Started in Albion Basin, ended at Brighton. Awesome day. Took me about 2 1/2 hours. Not bad for beginners.
Climbed it as part of the Brighton Ridge Traverse. Going up was fun in the snow, with great views of the sunrise, with Salt Lake Valley right behind! Really windy at the top!
Mount Wolverine & Mount Tuscarora were great for a day when the storm was knocking on our back door. We made it up and down early before it hit. Great views on top.
Summited Wolverine and Tuscarora as part of a bigger loop at Brighton. I started at the base of the Millicent quad, hiked up to Twin Lakes, then summited Millicent. From there I went over to Wolverine, Tuscarora, down to Catherine's Pass and up Sunset. For the hike out I descended straight down Sunset to Lake Catherine and then out the standard Brighton Lakes hike.
From Twin Lakes - 09/27/15
Ran up from Alta and did Honeycomb Cliffs, then Patsy Marley, and then over Wolverine and Tuscarora down to Catherine's Pass and back down Albion Basin to the car. It was an incredible day up there.

Finally got this guy out of the way. Came up from Brighton via Catherine Pass. Gorgeous views on top. Devil's Castle looks so sexy! I sat for a very long time on the summit and told a story about Colorado #1 and Colorado #2. It may have been the best story the mountain had ever heard. Needless to say it was gorgeous, I was happy, the end.
You probably shouldn't be talking about your various Coloradans.
Climbed the peak with some friends on my splitboard. Skied/boarded down Seagull Couloir. Beautiful day!
Morning hike to the top of Mount Wolverine with Jessica. A crisp, refreshing October day, the foliage was spectacular, and the trail muddy.
I went with a couple of girls and it was a lot of fun. For one of the girls it was her first mountain ever. It's a great peak for beginner hikers because it only takes a few hours. We did it in 3 round trip. The other girl fell like five times and sprained her ankle...on flat ground. We don't know how it happened. I think she says she epitomizes grace and might be the person who signed the log right before me. Anyway, it was a beautiful hike and I thought I was in the Misty Mountains.
TWO TIMES. She only fell twice.
Just another day in which I epitomize grace! I should maybe learn to walk...?
Hit Honey Comb Cliffs, Wolverine, Tuscarora, Pioneer, Sunset, Preston, Majestic
Hit these as part of the ridge traverse.
