With Hale
Somehow secured an overnight Whitney permit and camped above Guitar Lake. Cruised up Young and Hale before heading back. They're definitely not the tallest things around those parts!

Traversed from Mt. Hale. Went on to un-named peak to the west before descending to camp in Wallace Creek.

Day 9 of the 2007 Sierra Challenge. Hiked with Bob via Iceberg Lake and Whitney-Russell Col and Mt. Hale. Returned directly down the Upper Boy Scout Lake drainage.

Day hike
Solo day hike over Sakai Col and onto Mt Hale and Mt Young. Left the house in San Pedro at 1AM, began hiking shortly after 5AM, hit Hale about noon (after a nap along the way) and Young shortly afterwards, back at home by 11PM.
