Cool ...

This goat is definitely "too cool for school!"

It would make a great mascot, though.

Re: Cool ...

Thanks Larry for the comment.
Why did you delete your Mt. Rainier article?

Re: Cool ...

I had problems with copyright stuff. Rainier
isn't my cup of tea anyway. IMHO, it's much too
over-rated and controversial of a mountain.

I'm going to stick to AZ rocks from now on!
Arizona needs more of an input on SP !!! !!!

(Just because I happened to be born in
Mt Rainier's shadow, it doesn't make me an
authority on a giant miracle of ice and melt-water. I guess I'm officially a "desert
man" now.) Take care - NICE GOAT!

Re: Cool ...

Hey Larry in this picture I forgot to mention earlier this goat was actually ticked off at us. He was with his wife and two kids and we got too close so he just walked towards us in a sort of unfriendly mode and we backed off. Quite an experience with a mountain goat. The other mountain goat picture is him too.

Re: Cool ...

Interesting - I'm not an authority on goats,
but I have studied them (quite extensively) in the Washington Cascades.

If you are alone and really quiet, they seem
to go about their regular activities
(ie. breeding) without fear of human presence. Suppose they may pick up your
scent, if the wind is blowing in their
direction.

"I talk to the wind ... and the wind cannot hear."

Hey, whatever happened to SP-member 'Biglost?' Is he still 'lurking' around, or
did he get lost some where? ??

Have a great one, and I hope you spot some
more interesting wildlife.

I'll vote the Goat too

It's clearly thinking about something - either food or how the SP picture came out.

Re: I'll vote the Goat too

Probably food they came up the trail to the area "Sperry Chalet" and started eating. Thanks for your vote.
