Beautiful page-I thought that Messner wrote about being in these mountains as he was growing up. Good info and web links!

Thanks,

in fact I'm still posting pictures and lot of the info is recycled from the Sass Rigais page. But I plan to do a group page for the Geisler/Odle Group and after I've done that these pages will look different.

Hoping the best for your weekend (mine as well...)

another humdinger of a page, Gangolf. Congratulations, you really make the mountains of Europe look like a place I want to see sooner as opposed to later. have a great weekend. -Tim-

Hi Vid, it is not so VERY difficult but much steeper than the topo shows. It's degree II mostly and III in the chimneys. And, of course, very exposed.

Thanks for the vote

Question

Hi Gangolf,

First of all a compliment for your beautifull page. Well done.

Then a question. Do you have any more information about the north face routes up the Funchetta? I'm really interested in that information.

Cheers

Re: Question

No first hand info in any case. If you can read German I could scan a couple of pages of the Alpenvereinsführer (1980) and eMail them to you.

Re: Question

Yes I can read German. So if you would be so kind :-) I would be very happy.

Thanks
