Yeah, you gotta love going off-trail in Arizona. You've gotta be careful! I spent 5 minutes on the slope of Pusch Peak pulling prickly paer spines out of my shins...and that was ON trail!
PS: It's been uber-hot down in Tucson. It was 96 one day while I was there at the end of October!

How 'bout Shindaggers ??The last time I went off-trail in the Tucson area, I ran into
a vast field of Shin-daggers. Just my luck..
My wife and I are headed down there next week. How's the weather?
