I noticed you made no mention of West Gunsight Peak, which is on the west side of Gunsight Pass. It is its own separate peak, so I can see why you omitted it.

I wasn't aware that that hump on the other side of the pass had a name! Oh well, I could hardly find any sign of the bump called Gunsight having a name, so that shouldn't be too suprising!

Good job on this one.... and glad to see a route added. BTW, saw your nickname up in the register on Matterhorn. Nice climb, wasn't it?

The N Arete on Matterhorn Pk was a great climb - the crack climbing was much harder than expected and really fun :-) Check out my TR if you want to see some nice photos of the route.

Nice trip report.



Wish we could've done that route - we went up to do the N. Arete too and ended up doing the Double Dihedral route instead. Pretty fun, although the 2nd to last pitch had some loose shit on it and was pretty aggravating with a heavy pack.
