Thanks for the vote. To be honest, I can't really recongize the area in your picture. It looks like the peak in the distance may be Mt. Konocti, which is visible from Lowery. Were you shooting to the west?
Apparently the USGS/BLM are confused on this one. On the topo map and the picture you posted of the Blue Ridge Trail sign the name is spelled "Lowery". In any case, I changed the spelling on the mountain page since it's fair to assume the marker is correct. Thanks for pointing it out. Cheers.
