My cousin climbed in Wrangell-St. Elias last summer so I thought he might have some great pics but he hasn't gotten back to me yet. I'll add content as soon as I can.
but I don't get the feeling I'm receiving the kind of first-hand knowledge that Summitpost strives for. The route info, for example, is copied from the NPS site. That's legal (fed gov't works are not subject to copyright) but should be stated explicitly.
Given the remoteness of the peak, the solid (at least as far as I can check) info on this page is welcome, but I'm leaving room to raise my vote when we get detailed route info from someone who's been there.
You've got a nice page started here. Good info and I appreciate your attempts at pumping more beta into it. I didn't realize Roach made what is prolly the first climb of the West Peak and second of Kennedy.
I kinda side with nartreb about having first-hand knowledge of a peak/climb...especially with a peak as serious as this one.
But I do like what I see thus far.
