The descent route could serve as one, but I don't think that any route is standard because not many people climb this peak. Most visitors to Avalanche Canyon are dayhikers or climbers out to bag Taminah Arete on Matternaught Peak.
On an XC-ski outing with my wife in the early 80's I was very intrigued by what I think was Mount Wister. I'll pull out my photos and see if they match. Beautiful mountain in any case.
