Overview
Tologorri or Iturrigorri is one of the most importants summits of Sierra Salvada, over the Aiala valley
From the valley looks impossible to reach the summit without climbing, but is possible thanks to "Portillo de la Barrerilla" and "Portillo de Menerdiga"
¿Why is also know as Iturrigorri?
Iturrigorri is the basque (languaje that speak some people in the basque country, Spain) name of this mountain. The name comes because Iturri in basque is fountain and Gorri is red, and near the summit of Tologorri/Iturrigorri there is a red fountain.
Sierra Salvada
The Sierra Salvada, between the provinces of Vizcaya, Alava and Burgos is an important range over the Ayala valley. Sierra Salvada marks the border among the Spanish central plateau and the valley. By that reason there many gaps between summit and summit.
