On my way from Texas, got Brasstown Bald in GA and headed for Sassafrass Mt. It was dark by the time I got to the turn off road and so I didn't even realize it. It was an unplanned summit, so I didn't check on here first. So, I'll be back to try it again! Good page, thanks :)
Found the page very helpful on my recent visit. Just FYI, there is now a deck and overlook off the west side of the parking lot with a stunning view of the foothills. I'll post some pics.
