Are you certain about that? From what I recall one (I think the first) is plenty longer than a 30 m rope could rap. And the writeup you wrote seems to confim it.
Not sure where you are referring to. If you mean the drop into Lost Valley, yes that is long but I don't think it calls for a rappel. Steep slabs, but that's about it. The biggest drop I know of is at the outlet to Lost Valley:
The actual rap station is to the left out of the picture and I don't think it's more than 30' (that's three stories in height).
Yes... The pic right here and the station to the left is the one I am thinking of (pretty sure). Not coming down the slabs.
I cannot remember for certain the height... guess I need to go back. But Bob... Your own write up says "The first is located just above the top of the Inner Gorge, on some ledges about 80-100ft above the creek."
You're right, I did say that. Not sure how much crack I was smoking at the time. 100ft is some pretty serious vertical, and from the picture it doesn't look that much at all (more like 40-50ft). Well, I'm no longer sure. Hope someone can add to this at some point. It's been more than ten years since I was there and the ol' memory isn't what it used to be.

Re: Rappel LengthsThey are all short, about 20-30ft. 30m rope would be fine.

Re: Rappel LengthsThanks! Are the bolted anchors fairly easy to find?
