The sulfurous cliffs on the northwest side of Sherman Crater on June 25, 2000. If you happen to be one of those wackos that likes the smell of rotten eggs, then this place is for you!

Easton or Squak?

When you did the climb did you do the lower Squak or Railroad grade up the Easton?

I've been up the Squak-Easton many times and always got nauseous around here.

Re: Easton or Squak?

We started at Schreiber's Meadow, hiked up past the moraine of the Railroad Grade, then up to the toe of the glacier to camp. On the way back we stayed high on the moraine.
