Liburnija sea view

Liburnija sea view

From the summit of Liburnija (1710m), above Paklenica, fantastic view spreads towards part of very indented Croatian coast and its numerous islands. Left is coast of Ravni Kotari county behind Zadar city. Right is SE end of Pag island and Vir island. In the background are islands of Zadar archipelagos. March 28th 2004. Photo: Aleksandar Gospic

Excellent

I love how the center is dominated by the orange on the water's surface while the outsides fade into the sky with no clear dividing line, as the islands take on the appearance of clouds.

Re: Excellent

Thanks TLM! Yes, the outer islands can be viewed as floating in the sky, above the reflection, as clouds.

Re: Excellent

Gorgeous. Abstract feel. The lands look like they're floating is something other than water-other worldly. Unique!

Re: Beautiful and quiet...

Kenzo, thanks very much for the link! Fantastic shots, as usual, of nature and people and interesting history. I especially liked the Tibetan Girl ;-) That shot is for National Geographic! Queen valley is fantastic.
