Re: Pyramid

Its amazing to me that this photo has 26 hits and only three votes. The new way to downvote on SP is to not vote at all. This is a fantastic photo of a remote, rarely viewed mountain in Colorado. What else could you want?

Re: Pyramid

I'm already thinking about how fun it would be to climb those three peaks with a pack in from the Beartown TH. That's Rio Grande Pyramid, specifically :-D

I'd be up for something like that. I'm old, slow, and can barely pull 5.8, but I have legs and a back like a pack mule, half a storefull of gear, and can go all day and half the night.

I'd like to get some nice pics of Wham ridge from high up and get myself up the same. A Trinity scramble or traverse would be a bonus.

Looking at a possible recon into Stony Pass, Highland Mary, Beartown area this season. Let me know if interested or if I can get any pics you may want. Same goes for a climbing trip.

Re: Pyramid

Any pics you take are welcome, jeffers!

I've already decided, unfortunately, that a trip to the Grenadiers is not in the cards for this season. I'm moving from Colorado at the end of August, and there are just too many peaks with a higher priority. Someday, though, I'll be back!

Re: Pyramid

hmm sounds like the formula for computing a photo's score is in error.

Great set of pictures

Hey Ryan, this is definitely a great set of pictures you have posted. Often the Colorado Peaks occur a little unimpressive to me but these are real beauties. Unimpressive of course is the wrong word but I know no better.

No doubt

One of the greatest pictures to be submitted to SP of Colorado's rugged and beautiful Grenadier Range. This is just one heck of a beautiful mountain! Awesome job with the photos and the page. The copnsiderable effort put forth in this expedition and in your resulting work at SP has not gone unnoticed by your peers, Mr. Schilling!
