Yes, that's GREAT!

eric, I've never been here, but it looks
a lot like the High Uintas in northeastern
Utah. Both the color of the mountains,
and the abundance of water. It could most
certainly pass for Henrys Fork Basin.
Do they have any MOOSE, here? Thanks.

Re: Yes, that's GREAT!

Yes there are moose, cariboo, mountain lions and bighorn sheep and there are native trout in most of the lakes and streams here.

Re: Awesome !

Ive been to a ton of places in the U.S. and of all of them I would say that mohawk lakes in CO to be the most beautiful and serene places (with the smallest effort) I've ever been. I've been to Colorado twice and every time I got there I go to mohawk lakes. Highly recommended!

Re: Does one have

no more like miner's digs and a gold sifting pan. There are a few caves up in them there hills. There are also alot of mining cabins-most delaptitated and there is an old cable system that was used to send ore down to the base from the mines and stream up above.

That's pretty awesome!

When I was in Alaska ten years ago, I remember seeing a lot of delapitated mining equipment, as well. They're EVEN removing gold from the bottom of the Bering Sea! They have a TIGHT SCHEDULE, because the Bering Sea freezes! In Arizona, they have several copper mines that are now opening. Thank you, eric!
