Superb viewpointI think Olallie Butte may be one of the best viewpoints other than the top of So. Sister in the Oregon Cascades. It certainly was a pleasant surprise to catch the views on a clear day from its summit. Your pic now means a lot more to me since I've been up there.

Re: Superb viewpointOlallie Butte is also interesting in that it is the highest summit in Marion County, my home county. Although the county HP is on the north ridge of Mt. Jefferson.
I've heard the view from Middle Sister is the best, but I haven't been there yet. Another great viewpoint is Three Fingered Jack. I just posted some new photos from 3FJ.

Re: Superb viewpointMiddle Sister is on my list after I get all of the Oregon county highpoints done. Lots of fun, 22 down, 14 to go. I'm also working simultaneously on Washington's Hp's Kind of an addicting pursuit (blame rfboltonof summitpost fame)
I've really been enjoying all of your excellent pics and summit logs of your Oregon efforts. Your 3fj pics are great.
