Unsurmountable??

Wouldn't it be easier if a climber came in from
the opposite side, avoiding the ridge - except
for the final section below the summit???

I know ... some people like it harder.
That almost looks like the rim on a volcano!!

Thanks larry - there is a col (usually snowy) between Olive and Mt St Nick that is a gradual slope, you then pick your way up the ridge (not too hard, a bit of exposure).

yup, last weekend trip. We (my son and his girlfriend and I) had a beautiful day on the Wapta Icefield.
