Fun hike before I left. Nice views. I will be back with BearQueen in the future. Met Glenn on the way back.
Got my exercise here many times this year (2015) - hiking many of the trails that lead to the "Summit" (Hard to call it a "MT" and "Summit" at 1500 ft but hey it is a good place to go. It is nice to see young kids with their parents getting there first experience at this wonderful activity.
I didn't keep count but having done this at least twice every time - and sometimes three times - and up to 5 days per week - I have easily gone over a 100 times n 2015 to the top of this nice hill.
Nice day for a family hike.
Great views the entire time.
Wet and quick, hiked hard and made it feel big...
Nice short hike on a visit to Eugene. Good views from the summit.
Hike it many a time. Need to run it for time next trip home.
Hiked up with my dog, Luna. Lots of people enjoying the morning. Low ceiling though so no far views. Popular park.
Took two trips up on successive days--First climb used the Bistal route (2.8 miles roundtrip); VERY popular route w/ 25+ hikers on the trail in a driving rain storm. Next day took the Theodore Route (3.6 miles roundtrip)--much less crowded. Pleasant, very well maintained trail both routes.
easy summits this day. Views were nice, and the Kesey memorial was interesting.
lots of trails
Steep but not very long
Hiked this one alot when I lived in Eugene, though I always preferred Spencer's Butte.
