winter hike on mt Sniktau

This was my first organized winter hike to an actual summit. I often hike/snowboard in the area and scored a day that is rare in this part of Colorado, no WIND or clouds. This is an easy hike with beautiful views and great photo ops but I could imagine in the wrong conditions it could be very dangerous. The sth facing slopes are very steep and drop into a gulch that would not be a fun place to hike out of in winter. There was an avalanche fatality nearby that day and a week later I hiked into stevens gulch across the next ridge [mt keslo] and heard 2 slides close by. Be careful out there.....
