Southwest Ridge of Mt. St. Elias, 18,000 ft., from across Yakutat Bay. (30 miles away.) (400 mm lens with doubler = 800 mm.) Note Malaspina Glacier in foreground. (Bigger than the state Rhode Island.) Foothills in middle distance are 3,000 ft. high. This was the first sunny day in 6 months.
