The view from Mt. Sterling fire tower. The clouds cleared long enough for us to get a view of the ridgelines. Taken as part of a loop hike to Mt. Sterling. The route: Big Creek Trail to Swallow Fork Trail to Mt. Sterling Ridge Trail to Mt. Sterling and down Baxter Creek Trail to Big Creek Trailhead. Great Smoky Mountains National Park May 2nd, 2009
