Lower reaches of Lion Head

Very disappointing snowfall year, as evident in the shot of Wildcat "across the street". Even the scrub in the lower portion of the picture is sticking out quite a bit. Last fall was looking soooo promising, then nothing....

... it was quite dissapointing. i was hoping for feet of snow and some brutal winter conditions. Nothing like that to prep you for serious weather conditionsi n Nepal!!!

That was the plan, just turned out to be the mildest conditions they have had there in a long while. Need to return next winter.
