Or did you lug your 20D up Russell yourself (I'm assuming that's the camera you brought with you)?! I feel bad, as I'm too lazy to drag something that large up a climb (I just take my point-and-shoot for climbs), but you've inspired me! Nice photos & don't fret, you'll summit Russell soon (there are also fine rock routes to be had in better conditions)! Nice series of photos.
20D it is! It is going everywhere with me... well, almost everywhere :) Wait until I pick up my next camera (Canon 5D?), it will be even heavier, LOL
This is the best pic of Whitney I've EVER seen. Bravo. Let me know if you ever consider selling your prints.
I am selling my prints (and licensing rights). If interested, email me at email@example.com. Sorry, there is no "pro" website yet that explains all specifics, but it is coming soon. In the meantime, I will be very easy to deal with :)
Thanks a lot for the comment!
Fantastic shot & colors ! I like it. Thank you for posting.
And thank YOU for stopping by and leaving a comment!
Great shot... keep it up!
Thanks Jack. BTW, are you still doing Flash design for hire?
Hi Misha. Yes I am still doing freelance Flash design. Why do you ask?
Getting repetitive! I seriously believe you offer the finest, and most consistently superb photographs of the Sierra on SummitPost. You have the eye of a poet and the real mastery of the craft which is rare. This shot is just one of many awesome ones.
it s like the red planet
this is a beautiful photo, really captures the magic of the high sierra at dawn. props for carrying such a big camera up there! I'd love to but I like to travel light. I say this sincerely: you are the new ansel adams of the high sierra!
