The Decisive Moment, a phrase borrowed from one of my favorite photographers of all time, Henri Cartier-Bresson. I started with film cameras way back when and it was really because of this great photographer that I took an interest in trying to capture fleeting moments in time with a camera. What a change from film to digital and the endless possibilities of the digital dark room (Photoshop). I stood there on a granite outcrop in the Alabama Hills, waiting and waiting and waiting for this moment. It's an image of Mt Whitney I've had in my minds eye for some time and then, there it was.
