WoWoWOOOOOWWOWOWOW!

This is a spectacularly beautiful picture. I love various shades of red rock and the layering going on here. Are there any named peaks in this picture? I was wondering what the two major peaks in the background are...

Peak Names

Thanks you. I've been photographing the West for many years.
The higher, darker peak on the horizon is Muddy Peak. The red band in the forground is Bowl of Fire. Access is from Northshore Road at Lake Mead NRA about the 25 mile marker.

This is it ...

The photo I've always wanted to take. The perfect shot of one of my favorite desert peaks. Hope you don't mind that it's my new screensaver at work.

Hi res for the taking.

Re: Beatiful scenery!

Lake Mead NRA is as easy or as hard as you want it to be but it is low and easy to get to. Most people just stay in the Casinos or Red Rock. I've never come across another human in the 1+ million acres. THIS is my house.
