One day, I'll take a similar photo with my kids... One day...
I had parents that blessed me with the outdoor adventures at a young age. So i always tried to do the same with my children, bless them with it not force it apon them and they will feel rewarded also
Truly a cherished Father and Daughter shot! Love the look on your face and the moment caught on film. Wish we had met sooner... :)
All the best,
I am sure your son can feel blessed with a father like you and the adventures you have blessed him with. It is those moments that you can watch him take over a lead and struggle through a 5.10 and make it over the hard move with a grin of acheivment on you both .You know then your worth as a dad to him is truly something of meaning in his life.Keep on rockin and I will keep on icing. The ice man Jerry
Oh did you notice how old the picture is no rappel device just a load of carabiners oval ones at that.
Old skool skilz, Jer......old skool indeed! :)
Notice old school hahhaharness. If I am not mistaken wearing an old pair of EB'S or Fires
cool shot. Isn't great to teach your children the love for the outdoors.
It certainly is I can only think how you feel when skiing down those backcountry slopes and gullies watching you daughter cutting turns with you must bring about such good feelings may they continue for a long long time may you do them with your grand childern. I will try and get ahold of your daughter for ice climbing next week end. In the mean time heel toe with a grin. If you look more into my pictures you will find one of my daughter and I climbing Devils Tower together on a ledge with a happy grin on our face See ya Jerry
well, give Errin a hug for me! Thanks for taking her out.
Thank you for contributing to the 'Mountains of Smiles!' When I look at this picture, a tear comes to my eye ... which is good, because we need more water in the desert!
Thank you so much for your comment. Be it the desert , the mountains , ocean coast any place that mother natures beauty abounds is a good place to share with your children. I just got back from a Canada ice climbing trip with my 28 year old son and the happiness that trip brought him and I will last a life time. I wish you many like that also
Life could not get any better.
A heart-warming photo.
Great job, Jerry.
Those are heart felt moments with my kids. I have shared very many times like that with all my children over the years. It is so nice to see them go on and to be climbers, hikers .skiers, and take off on their own enjoying adventures in the outdoors. I am glad you enjoy it. Thank you
