We don't have big mountains, but what we have got are in some great areas. Glad you enjoyed the TR.
I love this pictures
Thanks for those kind and encouraging words. I shall have to make damn sure I keep my standards up with future TRs etc!
Exceptional photos. Maybe the finest pics I've ever seen of the area. You could sell them to the welsh tourist board, you've done more to make me want to visit than they ever could. Thanks for posting this.
Thank you Barrys. Amazing the quality of photo you can get these days worth small digi camera stuck in a mountain jacket pocket! I've been back a few times since those winter trips and had weather that has only allowed just plain ordinary photos.
A trip report?! It is almost a book!!!
Very good and rich info!!!
Thanks Romuald, hope you enjoyed it.
A very interesting account of yer exploits and impressions - and great photos too, Bryan. Well done.
PS New Zealand awaits...........
Still a dangerous place when misty. I found myself in a Doctor Who white void up there, unalbe to differentiate between sky and ground, then arrived at a sheer drop.
Sadly I don't know these mountains as well as I ought to. I lived in S. Wales for two years, but I visited Snowdonia more when I lived in Reading! It was a favourte club meet location.
This page is stunning. Great pics and dialogue.
Many thanks. I've got a TR to write for the 2009/10 winter when conditions were even better!
looking forward to it
