My first time ice climbing, literally.

My first time ice climbing, literally.

First I want to say that I do have a sense of humour. Yes, I know the legs of my harness are reversed, but I didn't feel like dealing with the hassles of fixing them when I was just about to climb. So what if I look a bit stupid. I fixed them on my second climb. I am no stranger to mountain climbing. I have done a small bit of rock climbing, have walked around on our glacier here in Juneau, but this was my first time ice climbing. My form wasn't too pretty, but after the first 10 minutes, I started feeling like maybe I could get the hang of it. I have to say, those first 10 minutes, I was thinking, this just wasn't going to be my thing, I felt really awkward and like I just wasn't getting a "grip"!
