Did you spot my Carpathian weapon, Borut?
tell of the intelligence and kindness inside.
It's a great photo, Jacek.
Well, Marc, did you notice the walking tomahawk/obušek/valaška/ciupaga/topyrets/fokos
in my hand? :)
No, I had not noticed the tomahawk but I know a lot more about this interesting tool now, thank to the link you sent. Being an Iranian and having spent a few years in the villages there, I had seen different variations to this tool. I bet shepherds have been using them for thousands of years.
Thanks a lot Marc – that's a very interesting bit of information. I think you're right, the alphorn also seems to be a few thousand years old. And Europe is just one of the big peninsulas of Asia.
Europe is a peninsula of Asia ?
What a mind-blower! I never thought of it in
Did everything evolve from what once was a "Super Continent?"
So, we are RELATED!! Let's all have a group hug !!!!! !! : ))
Well, in a way we're all Pangean... :))
You could have asked your wife, Larry. Now please go give her a decent hug!!!!! Then spend a night studying the Pangaea page :))) plus this, unfortunately in Polish.
nice picture !
btw I didn't know you were an Elve ! (if I believe the quote you put to your profile :)
Still haven't got the clue of your surname enigm, despite browsing tons of Niedzica pictures :)
There's three other ways. :)
I would take the map option, Eric ;) You might also find a clue on the Hungarian wiki-page about Niedzica...
BTW, great photo, Jacek!
For Heaven's Sake, just call him Mister Yatsek!
The problem is my original middle:) name - although it sounds like yatsek - spells out Jacek. LOL
Anyway, I do think meanings are much more important than words, and I bet you - Sir Larry - agree.
you were such a cute little kid... I would adopt you...haha
The problem is Liba, you would've been about minus seven - if not three times as less - at that time; anyway, surely I'd love to have such a cute Mom (and a bonus dog) :D
BTW Please help Larry with his musical question.
Just letting you know I can barely make you out because the pic is too dark, at least on my screen.
I'm afraid you're right but a guy with a job like mine is kind of bound to remain in hiding. :-)
All the best,
Carpathian Robin Hood
Sure ;-)like a crooked spruce in the krummholz zone at twilight.
Thanks on behalf of all inhabitants of the elfin wood:)
