Myself enjoying the view of the Sierra Nevada in Tuolumne Meadows, above Yosemite Valley

Amazing view from the top of a dome in the upper reaches of Yosemite National Park. I would love to do some adventuring in the Sierra Nevada(and continue to climb big walls in Yosemite)!!! I love this place :) There was some awesome slab climbing on these domes! If my memory serves me right i think the area was called the meadows, but I could be mistaken. The Meadows,

is short for Tuolumne Meadows. No, you're not mistaken.

Re: The Meadows,

I really liked that part of the park. The valley is amazing but very crowded.

Excellent ...

Also my hottest area in Yosemite.

If you take the John Muir trail southward into the Cathedral Range, you'll lose the crowds and pretty much have the place for yourself.

Re: Excellent ...

I would love to go back there and climb some of those peaks. It looked like some awsome alpine routes in the Cathedral Range!
