Mytrowe Rohy?

Mytrowe Rohy?

Rock formations on the western side of Halicz seen from the waymarked trail. As one of the local names of Halicz was Mytrowe Rohy, which stemmed from “Dmytro’s Horns”, I suppose the rocks in the photo may have been those horns.

An interesting info

How about the weather conditions during your hike?

Re: An interesting info

The info comes from a map made by Wojciech Krukar. As far as I can remember, you have a similar map of the Chornohora. I've put more of those old names in the table on the W. Bieszczady page :)
As for the weather, it was good enough, just a little bit worse than the forecast. Although I couldn’t see anything from Rozsypaniec and Halicz, I spent nearly two hours (!) at the summits of Wielka Rawka drinking in the views.

Thanks a lot

for your additions in the summit table. I didn´t know anything about those second names of the Bieszczady´s summits.
