Na Pali coast

The Na Pali coast is located on Kauai, the garden isle. The weather man forecasted RAIN so I cancelled my backpacking trek to the lush sandy beaches of the Na Pali coast. It did rain; but didn't RAIN! During severe thunderstorms, hikers are strongly encouraged not to cross the raging stream at Hanakapiai Beach. Over 80 individuals have been swept out to sea and drown.
