Nadelhorn summit

Looking back to the summit of Nadelhorn- on the left with the cross and a climber. In the late season these slabs were covered by snow and all the cracks were filled with ice. Normally the routes follows the ridge- we were forced to stay on the right side of the ridge while ascending and on the left side during the descent. September 21, 2007.

The final part of the ridge is pretty sharp, but in good coditions relatively easy (about UIAA II). The right side (not visible on the photo) is a little bit more difficult but allows you to go on the snow higher than from other sides.
