Hiked with the whole family to the summit on a hot day (100 degrees down in Logan), but there were enough trees and shade to escape the sun when we needed to. There were a lot of yellow and blue wildflowers along the trail, and the views from the cliffs at the top were very nice. Fortunately, we had the summit entirely to ourselves.
Combined Naomi Peak and nearby Bridger Peak for my 5th and 6th Utah county high points.
Second of the day, again alone at the summit. Some good views, but had to keep going
from Tony Grove - continued to top of Cherry Peak. No one seen there, but as many as 17 people (plus three dogs) on summit of Naomi.
It's been 14 years since I was last on Naomi. Good to be back. Combined with Magog, Bullen Hole and Gog for a stellar traverse.
Bagged Naomi while mapping for invasive weeds from Tony Grove to the bottom of Cherry Creek Canyon. Clear day. Could see to the Uintas and the Wasatch Range above Salt Lake City.
Beautiful little day hike. $6 for parking at Tony Grove, but well worth it! Love this area and the views from the summit. Trail is always easy to find and follow.
Climbed up Naomi and Bridger in a light snowstorm. Couldn't see anything, but still fun.
Beautiful hike with nice views from the summit.
A morning stroll from base at Bear Lake. The meadows were noteworthy, with an impressive variety of flowers. Pretty good payoff to effort ratio.
Naomi was a beaut! I indulged in some HP audio on my way up.
Climbed with RB and AKB (11). Lots of snow along the way to slide down which was fun for AKB. Trail all the way to the summit. Easy and fun from Tony Grove.
After spending the night near Bear Lake, Shaylee, Kessler, Kimberly, and I climbed Naomi Peak. Most of the flowers were gone, but it was still a nice hike and the weather was good.
I made it to the top after about an hour and fifteen minutes after some sweaty hiking. There were plenty of wildflowers to keep me company and I even found I nice reclining spot on the summit. A while later a five year old popped up on top. I thought that was impressive. Anyway, I saw lots of accipiters on the way. So majestic.
Lots of traffic on the trail and the summit. The holiday weekend certainly didn't help anything. There was enough snow near the top for a couple short glissades. Definitely the highlight of the hike.
This is probably my favorite hike in the area so far. Beautiful views from the summit. The snow is starting to accumulate. Winter is definitely on its way!
Beautiful day. Great weather. Let's go get Bridger Peak! Thnks to my best friend for showing me the way.
A gorgeous view from the top, lots of pretty scenery along the way, what's not to like?!
