Near the Brandy Peak turnoff

This sign gives you a feel for the distance involved in getting to Brandy Peak up a paved (mostly) but narrow winding road. The day we hit this road, it had a ten mile section closed due to a slide and we had a 22 mile detour on a dirt logging road to get us back to I-5. No fun when you are behind very slow moving vehicles. 6-13-03
