Re: I know where that is...Actually that is one of our sherpas getting the kitchen ready to cook dinner. Yikes! I hope that wasn't the outhouse . . . I'm pretty sure it wasn't. :-) We were on our way back down from Tengboche, I can't remember exactly where it was but I don't think it was Phakding.
How's life in Saanich? I miss Vancouver Island. I went to Mt Newton for a short time. :-)

So you're a VI girl. There's lots of VI mountains in my corner of SP if you feel like a spot of nostalgia.
My son went to Stelleys for a year in 1989. I was even in Saanichton this morning for a coffee. A new place opposite the Prairie Inn.
