Oh dear

I'm afraid the next one may be taller/bigger than Musala Mountain, or the Tower of Babel.

Re: Oh dear

If one likes staying in such hotels, he deserves to be ripped off. :)

Re: Oh dear

Yeah...we slept there one night but somewhere in the small houses from the right in the worse one and cheapest hahahahah, we were too tired after an adventure night on the bulgarian roudes lol. Second we slept in the meteo station cause the Everest shelter they closed it, was late sunday when we arrived hmmmm. So I think that shelter is open just in weekend days???

Re: Oh dear

When I was there, the refuge was what now is just a shed by the Everest Shelter; there were five of us and there wasn't much space left.

Re: Oh dear

I didnt see it inside but looks to have enough space a day before a lot of people gone there...anyway a shelter should be open all days not just in the weekend hmmmm.

Re: Oh dear

Do you mean the door was locked? In winter? That's a shame. Once a refuge, or rather the unlocked door at the back of a hut helped me survive a freezing night in the German Alps.

Re: Oh dear

Yes a shame. In Romania even that our shelters arent so nice and clean at least are open all the time and can save your life in case... I think that this one is more like a hut now than a refuge hmmm, I dont know what to say, I was there just once and this I saw, closed...its possible to sleep at the meteo station from the summit at least...
