really awaited...

and well done page. Snieznik massif is a great hiking area, I have some nice memories from there, I remember I was delighted with the area... so idyllic and really worth visiting.

Re: really awaited...

Thanks Tomek!
You're right- Snieznik is unique.
There are several other special mountains in Poland that have no pages on SP yet: Trzy Korony, Szczeliniec Wielki etc. We'll see...

Pozdrawiam
jacek.

Re: new pictures !

Thanks! The funny thing is something has just happened to the vote bar; it's turned blank, and the votes will have to be dished out later:( :) Have you stayed in any of the Czech huts, such as Paprsek or the enigmatic Vileminka?

vote bar = ????
I haven't stayed in any of the huts, but I ate in Paprsek. That one left me a very good impression, spacious, clean, beautiful. I also wanted to see how Medvedí Bouda looked like. I don't know if it's really open, it looks very small and basic. And I saw the sign of a 3rd one, Navrsi (http://www.navrsi.cz/), I passed very close but haven't seen it. However the website looks very enticing and it's very worth mentionning it in this page, as it is really in the Sneznik range. Having said that I must also underline finally that our polish one left me a very poor impression compared to them, as I entered it briefly. Additioned to my experience of Szwajczarska, my opinion of PTTK huts is not improving !

Re: new pictures !

Yep, those ten squares (disappeared but they're back now). Thanks, Eric, for the link and all the new and old pix. I was passing Navrsi Hut on a 2 May, a few years ago, but it was closed then. (BTW We ran into huge herds of deer in the clearings above Strbnice.) I'm not a big fan of PTTK although I used to be a member. As to the Czech side of Snieznik, just last August I popped in an inn in Horni Morava and was delighted with the service, not to mention the Pilsner.:D
