(NO) Momentary Lapse of LICHEN

Into the distance, a ribbon of black, Stretched to the point of no turning back. A flight of fancy on a wind swept field, Standing alone my senses reeled. A fatal attraction holding me fast, How can I escape this irresistible grasp? Pink Floyd (Learning To Fly - 1987) Green lichen maintains an "irresistible grasp" on AZ's Hickey Formation, seen here on the east side of Estler Peak. December 13, 2008

NIce shot Larry

Tell me Larry.
While taking this shot, could you keep your eyes from the circling skies? or were you tongue-tied and twisted like an earth-bound misfit?

Hope you are taking it easy over in AZ.

Re: NIce shot Larry

I was tongue-tied and twisted like the earth-
bound misfit that I am. ALAS... I need to sit
down on an easy chair, and watch a pirate
movie or Pink Floyd video.

Or, the Gaelic Christmas Special is sure to
LIFT my spirits. Merry Christmas, Stephen!!!
