a few observations

With all due respect I think saying that the snow gully is 60-70 degrees is a bit misleading...only the last 5 or so meters are actually that steep, the rest is around 45. As for the "scree slope from hell," you can make it a lot less hellish by climbing carefully up the larger boulders and taking care not to get the rolling. On the descent, however, it's better to find the finer rocks and just scree-ski your way down...it's actually very fast and kind of fun.
