The normal route (from Italy) to the Aiguille de Leschaux. BG = Gervasutti bivouac hut (2835m) BF = location until 1986 of the Freboudze bivy hut (2350m) AL = Aiguille de Leschaux (3789m)

Starting point of the route is the hamlet of Lavachey, in Val Ferret, near Courmayeur

was located ?

that's means that Freboudze doesn't exist anymore ?

Yes, for some stupid reason was removed in 1986 and placed (for a while) in the Courmayeur Guides Museum. It's now rotting somewhere in the Museum basement.
