North and Mid Velebit, in the...
North and Mid Velebit, in the central part of the mountain, are separated by W-E laid valley which, at its bottom, has series of beautiful and picturesque grassy basins. Here shown is edge of Bilenski Padez (bottom at 1250m), one of three such basin, from Kosica (1412m), highest point of Alan road. Left above is grassy dome of Goljak (1605m) on North Velebit.
