North-East-South Panorama

North-East-South Panorama

Many peaks can be seen in this composite image. Some of the more prominent, well-heard-of ones include Mount Baker, Mount Shuksan, Whitehorse Mountain, Glacier Peak, and Sloan Peak. Photographed from the summit of Three Fingers (6870 feet), October 21, 2006.

Oh man...

...this is the view we wanted but didn't have.
An example of what i am talking about can be found in this shot I took where clouds kept blocking our hoped for view. Great pano on your part and now appreciated even more.

Re: Oh man...

Thanks! I'm sorry you didn't have better weather but it looks like you got some amazing photos just the same. I'm looking forward to reading the trip report now.

Panorama from Three Fingers

Is it possible to purchase this breathtaking photo from you? I would like to enlarge it to mount on the wall of our 'new' house. I love the North Cascades and this picture reveals so much of their beauty. Thank you!

Re: Panorama from Three Fingers

Syd. Yes, absolutely. At your request I have made it available through a website called RedBubble. They handle the printing and do a very nice job. You can find this print for sale here.

Best wishes for the new year!
