North End of Route

This photo taken from the summit of Three Prong Mountain shows the east - west job in the ridge and its three summit points. These are left to right, point 8,136, point 8,026 and point 7,820 (on right margin). Burnt Knob is faded in the distance just right of the upper center. The route goes from Burnt Knob over the ridge to these closer points, then contours across their slopes and through the connecting saddles before the final ridge section to the Three Prong summit.
