Moderate Conditions
Exact date uncertain. I climbed this route with Louis Reichardt during our three weeks climbing in the Alps near Chamonix. Photographs of the north face indicate that the conditions are extremely changeable. The seracs were moderate when we climbed it.
Climbed solo intending to make a ski descent. Spooky water ice midroute forced a reconsidering of my plans! Great climb, beautiful face, great mountain!
